Hi Wendi! Not sure why it didn’t crackle, maybe the shaping you did was a little different, or maybe the hydration was a little higher (more oil or water might have made them less prone to cracking open) If they were cooked through and tasted fine, then it doesn’t matter as long as you enjoyed them!

Mine did not crack open & were more like a regular cookie. Did I not cook them long enough? They were cooked through & had awesome flavor but were nothing like the pic. What did I do wrong? I am an awesome cook but baking… well maybe should be done by someone else in my family!! lol Any help would be sooo appreciated!!
